Welcome

My house is usually in a bit of disarray. Clean laundry may take a day or two to get into the drawers, dirty laundry tends to pile up fairly quickly, and sometimes our dinners consist of a bowl of Cheerios and some chips and salsa. But nonetheless I do love "keeping house". Learning all the in's and out's of cleaning, cooking, entertaining, decorating, and creating the right ambiance for our family to feel "at home" in. It's a work in progress and I hope to use this little blog to share my thoughts, my mishaps, my victories, and my lessons on the art of homemaking.

Apron Swap



I just participated in a "mini swap" through http://apronswap.blogspot.com--(Canaan is impossible to make stand still)
Its mini because it was for the kids. Here is a picture of the cute apron Canaan got in the mail. It came with 3 recipe cards as well for some yummy foods we can't wait to make!
