I have a favorite winter hat this year. In fact, it stays with me at all times. And on weekends like this, where the snow is falling and temperatures are below twenty, I have a hard time taking it off. Yes it keeps my head oh-so-warm, but beyond that, it fits like a dream and I get compliments on it everywhere I go. And to boot, a friend made it for me.

My favorite winter accessory? Hmm. I'm a Fl-girl, and I detest coats! As dumb as it sounds, though, I would have to say that my favorite indulgence during the winter, accessory-wise, would have to be wool socks. Love them! They count as an accessory, right?

My favorite winter accessory is an infinity scarf,fleece lined fingerless gloves, my dad's homemade chili, and a hot cup of coffee (not together though-gross).
My favorite accessories are my anthropologie scarf and my fingerless gloves, with thumb holes too -- that's key! Well, I guess now all that's missing is the perfect hat!! Wink!

I have a short chunky knit neck scarf with a huge button that a dear friend got for me probably eight years ago now... It's full of soft winter blues and greens. It is still a staple for me. In fact, I wore it today <3

Accessory of choice: knee high ski socks! I can't remember the last time I went skiing, but I've been living in my socks all winter!

My favorite winter accessory? My homemade slouchy hat made of purple wool yarn I had intended to knit into a pair of socks, but I was lost at the heal turn. I abandoned the sock project but three years later, this passed December, I figured out that I could use circular needles to make my own hat and voila! I also never leave the house without my baby alpaca wool cowl neck scarf which my mother in law made for me for Christmas.
my favourite winter accessory is a pair of fingerless mitts i knit last june (when it wasn't cold at all!) but have been great for knitting while riding into work!

The Die Spinne hat is gorgeous. On facebook I saw she has some really cute headbands too. These days in chilly North Carolina you will not find me without a scarf.
